‘Earthquake in Democrat politics’: New York Times and Washington Post turn on Biden

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney discusses reports by The Washington Post and New York Times suggesting President Joe Biden shouldn’t run in 2024. There has been a particular focus on the decline of President Biden’s mental fitness at the age of 80. Mr Mulvaney said The Washington Post journalist David Ignatius suggesting President Biden shouldn’t run for re-election is “an earthquake in Democrat politics”. “It’s hard to explain to folks in Australia how important The Washington Post and the New York Times are to the left in this country,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow. “They are the standard bearers for the progressive and liberal movements here.”
